FAQS

The Answers You’ve Been Looking For

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT?

Yes, we are a walk-in clinic which means that no appointment is necessary EXCEPT for immunisations.

All immunisations will require an appointment which can be booked by giving our friendly admin officers a call.

Flu shots are seasonal and announcements will be made when these are available every year.

Please note we close 30 minutes earlier than our stated close time to allow staff to leave on time.

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

We accept all valid, non-expired OHIP cards and Canadian Healthcards (except Quebec). For Quebec healthcare cards we will provide you with a receipt for your medical insurance claims. Please note we do NOT accept cash payments.

DO YOU OFFER SPECIALIZED SERVICES?

Paediatricians are doctors who specialize in children’s health and are therefore the most knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to treating children.

HOW LONG ARE YOUR WAIT TIMES?

The waiting time varies because no appointment is required. The number of patients waiting to be served determines the amount of time you will wait. However, waiting times are generally shorter compared to those in emergency rooms.
Please note: If a child is severely unwell they may be seen first based on Triage by the front desk. Let us know if your child has lost consciousness, has difficulty breathing or has a high fever. This will help us serve you better!

HOW LONG ARE PAEDIATRIC VISITS?

Please keep medical requests to just one thing per visit so we can keep wait times down. Session times vary but wait times are always shorter than the emergency room. We recommend you call ahead if you are in a rush!

Please note we close 30 minutes earlier than our stated close time to allow staff to leave on time.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT

Please bring your provincial health card (expired health cards will NOT be accepted and No Cash payments). A mask for all children over the age of 3 and  accompanying adult(s) if you or your child have respiratory symptoms (cough and colds).  This will be required by reception.
